Job Description

Purpose and Context of the Job
Comair Limited, a JSE listed Aviation Company, is looking for applicants for a Personal Relationship Manager based in Randburg, Gauteng at the Comair Travel offices. This position’s responsibility is to develop and maintain customer relationships, by providing e-mail & telephonic support to corporate customers, ensuring customer retention, revenue targets are met & growth in market share, displaying Comair in a positive, professional manner.
This position reports directly to the Retail Travel Manager. This position is responsible for supporting corporate customers, placing the customer first, meeting & exceeding their expectations , thus delivering distinctive customer service on each interaction. This is done by assisting with queries, supplying them with monthly reports and figures that would assist in exploring opportunities for increasing travel spend, and enhanced corporate travel management. A key component to this role is ensuring that the relationships lead to a long term commitment and loyalty from customers. Internal liaison takes place with the Retail Travel Department, Finance, Sales, HR, IT, Customer Relations and the Slow Lounges. External liaison takes place with corporate customers and suppliers.

Key Performance Areas
To maintain and build relationships with external customers in order to grow the network base. To generate & distribute customer reports within allocated time frames in order to monitor progress & enhance customer experience. To monitor customer activity and collect competitor information in order to identify trends and opportunities in the market. To train customers on product updates to ensure system/ process knowledge. Ensure that all customer queries received are resolved / forwarded to relevant area, and are satisfactorily resolved within agreed time-frames.

Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Essential)
  • Travel and Tourism or related tertiary qualification (desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years airline OR corporate travel account management (Essential)
  • QuikTrav software(desirable)
  • Database management) (essential)
