Job Description

Africa Geographic is looking for a young, dynamic person to assist with a growing international inbound and outbound tour demand. Candidate need to have at least 2-3 years experience in travel consulting and be comfortable dealing with both FIT and Set Departure itineraries, their design, quoting, and booking. Superb inter-personal skills are required for the handling and liaison of AG clients on email and/or phone. Predisposition to work occasionally after hours, and handle travel emergencies, and or guests queries when they arise is very important.

Availability

Start 15 February 2016 – End 7 March 2016 (3 weeks)

Salary

ZAR 5,000-8,000 gross neg

Required Qualifications

Compulsory Skills / Abilities:
  • 2 to 3 years Experience in the travel or related industry
  • Computer literate: MS office - Word/Excel/Outlook
  • Travel related course/diploma/experience 
  • Good numeric skills
  • Good geography knowledge
  • Good spoken and written English (other languages advantageous)

  • GREAT telephone skills
  • GOOD conflict resolution & management
  • GOOD team player
  • GOOD communication skills
  • Availability and predisposition to work flexible hours, when and if needed, especially when situations require it
