Job Description

Established Travel Company seeks an experienced Senior Travel Consultant for Head Office in Durban. The successful applicant will be responsible for:
  • Top tier client database and development of new business.
  • The position entails managing and driving the performance targets that will be determined by Senior Management.
  • Must be focussed on achieving Monthly Sales Target individually and will also be responsible to drive the Monthly Team Sales Target.
  • Senior Travel Consultant must also drive the sales strategy of the company and thus provide input to Senior Management in this regard.
Business has a large client database of National, International and Corporate Travellers.

Salary

Basic Monthly Salary R10k plus commission Structure and Provident Fund T..B.A (negotiable depending on skills and experience )

Required Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Travel and Tourism (recommended)
  • Must have experience on Amadeus or similar system.
  • Experience on QuickTrav system will be an added advantage.
  • Work expereinece gained in an established Travel Agency is recommended.
  • Experience with respect to booking and managing of Airline Ticketing on
    a computerised system is a pre-requisite, must be familiar with Airline
    Ticketing Terminology.
  • Must have suitable knowledge of popular holiday destinations around the globe.
  • An independent and dynamic person, who has good people management skills.
  • The applicant must have excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Strong administration skills and Advanced computer skills  (Excel, MS Word ).
