Job Description

New Business Manager for Conferencing and Events
Travel Management Company seeks to employ a HUNTER with sales experience in a conferencing and events environment
Suitable candidate must have a stable career history, proven track record of reaching targets and strong presentation and negotiation skills. 
Ability to develop new business and close deals for an ICE environment

Responsibilities:
  • Self-source and convert business leads into trading accounts
  • Track leads and document interactions with prospects through CRM Database
  • Listen, converse and make business recommendations in a professional manner with potential clients for events, conferencing and incentives
  • Prepare and present MICE documents, including presentations both internally and externally
  • Establish and develop strong client relationships
  • Develop a leads system for MICE with new and existing clients and source new avenues for conferencing department
  • Demonstrate good business acumen

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years working experience in a MICE  environment
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Able to handle all client queries
  • The ability to close a deal
  • An excellent command on the English language
  • Good back office administration abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Creating content provision
  • Excitement for MICE
