Job Description

We are currently seeking a B2B Travel expert to join our growing B2B team (business, group & work abroad travellers). The successful candidate will maximise sales whilst delivering service excellence and positively promoting the STA Travel brand. This is achieved through exceeding client expectation, creating long term relationships, fostering mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and offering customers the travel services best suited to their needs.
 
Requirements - Key Responsibilities: 
  • To achieve weekly and monthly sales and revenue targets as agreed with the B2B Team Manager.
  • To contribute new and innovative ideas to continuously improve sales, best practice and internal procedures
  • To build a rapport with customers and maintain their confidence throughout the sales conversation
  • Use personal travel experience and product training to provide excellent advice to customers.
  • Support colleagues’ customers to ensure they receive an excellent level of customer service in the absence of their Travel Expert.
  • To respond to customer enquiries in an efficient and timely manner to meet the customer needs.
  • To work as an effective member of your store team and across all STA Travel departments

Salary

Basic salary, medical contribution and lucrative commission scheme

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years retail, corporate or group travel experience
  • Proficient in the use of a GDS (Amadeus preferred)
  • Excellent geography, destination and product knowledge
  • Outgoing and approachable with exceptional customer service skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about travel
  • Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail
  • Ability to excel under pressure
  • The ability to work in a small, sales driven team
