Marketing Co-Ordinator (Permanent) Western Cape- Tygervalley -Other

Job Description

The main objective of this role is to manage and execute marketing and admin related duties whilst delivering service excellence and positively promoting the brand. This is achieved through exceeding expectations thereby creating long term relationships and fostering mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues and suppliers.

 

  • Assist and support the marketing team with day to day marketing tasks and co-ordinate marketing projects and activities as requested
  • Assist with implementing the marketing plan provided by department managers – e.g. website, product, social media
  • Support the in-house marketing and design team by co-ordinating and collating content, campaigns, social media
  • Assist with the production of artwork, sourcing images and checking copy
  • Co-ordinate and deliver email campaigns
  • Capture, analyse and report on the success of marketing campaigns
  • Set up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities
  • Report on the sales enquiries from the CRM
  • Blog maintenance
  • Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes
  • Organise the production of branded items such as stationery and merchandise
  • Assist with co-ordinating events

Required Qualifications

  • Marketing degree or similar
  • Two years’ work experience
  • Computer literate including MS Office
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding of Google Analytics
  • Well organised and self-motivated
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be prepared to work overtime
  • Confident and outgoing personality
  • Challenge convention
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Creative and energetic
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of the client
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Driver's licence and own car essential
