Job Description

Primary Puprpose of the Job

• Obtain brief from clients
• Develop creative itineraries according to the briefs requirements
• Liaison with international agents and DMCs
• Liaison and establish relationships with local suppliers, hotels and tour operators
• Put together proposals and itineraries
• Make and co-ordinate all bookings relating to the incentive trip / conference / group
• Co-ordinate all VISA requirements and innoculations for groups
• Co-ordinate the entire programme for the group
• Being available to tour lead some programmes as required (away from home for up to a week at a time)
• Responsible for the profitability of his / her bookings
• Assist with researching destinations / venues as required
• Work on bookings for South African Tourism

Required Qualifications

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. diploma in travel and tourism)
• At least five years in a Senior DMC Consultant capacity
• Out bound experience an advantage
• Own car

N.B - non negotiable

Succesful candidate will be required to travel and spend time away from home.
