Job Description

To competently handle all aspects of travel within Africa and beyond

  • Ensure excellent customer service

  • Ensure excellent staff interaction and team work

  • Ensure close interaction and team work

  • Ensure good financial and cost management

  • Ensure error free travel transactions

4 weeks notice period

Salary

Above market related

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years domestic/intermediate experience as a travel consultant in retail travel.

  • Travel Product Knowledge and understanding of trends and developments within the travel industry

  • Preferred suppliers and CarlsonWagonlit branded product knowledge

  • Knows and understands software packages required to perform own job function including Sabre (Training will be provided for Sabre)

  • Fares knowledge

  • Customer Care principles

  • Accounting principles / administration

  • Detailed and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the structure, operations, systems, HR policies, and procedures of the organisation

  • Experience in handling complex travel arrangements
