Job Description

To competently handle all aspects of international, regional and domestic travel – both inbound and outbound

  • Ensure excellent customer service

  • Ensure excellent staff interaction and team work

  • Ensure close interaction and team work

  • Ensure good financial and cost management

  • Ensure error free travel transactions

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years senior experience as a travel consultant in retail travel

  • Travel Product Knowledge and understanding of trends and developments within the travel industry

  • Bidtravel preferred suppliers and  product knowledge

  • Knows and understands software packages required to perform own job function including Galileo

  • Fares knowledge

  • Customer Care principles

  • Accounting principles / administration

  • Detailed and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the structure, operations, systems, HR policies, and procedures of the organisation

  • Experience in handling complex travel arrangements
