Job Description

  • Ensure that all users are adequately trained on online booking and profile tool applications: providing end user support and training (1 on 1, telephonic, on-the-job and/or workshop based.)
  • Evaluation and training of External Support Consultants.
  • Writing and updating simple user documentation on relevant, software/products.
  • OBT and Profiler training of End User Clients
  • Onsite Support for New Clients
  • Actioning of help desk calls timeously.
  • Process service requests by using help desk function to access and respond to user queries and problems.
  • Seamless opening/closing/moving procedures.
  • Use checklist and maintain communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Consult to and participate in strategic company projects.
  • Provide specialist knowledge to projects and customers.
  • Implementation and rollout of products.
  • Following rollout schedule and adhering to installation policy for new/enhanced products.
  • Online Booking tool Technical setup and support
  • Ensuring that company policies and processes are adhered to relevant to Systems Support.
  • Remain abreast of company policy changes and enhancements.
  • Provide a high quality professional service to both internal and external customers
  • Timeous response to customer needs.
  • Accessible to clients.
  • Information and advice to clients is considered to be of a high quality and is accurate.
  • Management of the external support team in delivering a service to the business and meeting their individual KPA, to achieve the strategic goal of the business.
  • Consistently look for opportunities around creating efficiency and reduce the support needed in the business.

Required Qualifications

  • Matric Qualification

  • Diploma in Travel and Tourism (Or Similar)

  • MS Office

  • Knowledge of GDS System (Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre)
