Job Description

The main objective of this role is to co-ordinate the operational activities of the Franchise Department in accordance with company procedures and policies, ensuring high productivity and delivering service excellence. This is achieved through managing, developing and motivating the department to achieve results within given timeframes. 

  • Assist all partners & franchises on all Club Travel’s current technology offerings.
  • Assist the Franchise Director/Manager with the growth of the Franchise Department by identifying potential partners and then assisting with the sales process.
  • Thoroughly understand Club Travel’s operations systems and their application within the business.
  • Analyse and document business processes and problems. Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies.
  • Schedule monthly and bi monthly meetings with all partners.
  • Responsible to meet department productivity and quality goals.
  • Communicate with Supervisors, Managers, and Directors on Department operations.
  • Attending meetings in the Franchise Directors/Managers absence.
  • Ensure a positive image of Club Travel is maintained at all times
  • Build and maintain a professional relationship and effective communication with all Club Travel’s partners.
  • Remain flexible to the wider business needs of the company by rendering assistance for ad hoc projects and duties as required

  • 360 degree Performance Appraisals with team, line manager, clients and or suppliers

  • Achieving accurate results within given deadlines.

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Past experience in the travel industry as a senior consultant (min 5 years)
  • Capability to delegate, motivate and develop team
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
  • PC Literate especially in MS Office packages (Word/Excel/Powerpoint)
  • Sales experience
  • Training Experience
  • Own transport/Driver’s licence
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and initiatives in this regard
  • GDS proficient
  • Knowledge of office processes, procedures & technology in a travel agency.
  • Experience in supervising project & team activities
  • Ability to inspire confidence and develop rapport with staff
  • Well-developed problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Flexibility and adaptive to change
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to excel under pressure
  • Discretion and awareness of confidentiality
