Job Description

A vacancy exists in Cape Town for a Passenger Sales Executive (GSA position) to serve the Northern Suburbs, West Coast, City, Paarl, Stellenbosch and Athlone.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of three years airline or travel industry experience and experience in a sales role will be an advantage. Strong negotiation and sales techniques, planning, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.　Analytical skills to make use of broad range of data and information. Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet. Knowledge of reservations and ticketing.　　

Code 8 drivers license and a reliable motor vehicle.

General Details

The successful candidate will be responsible to achieve profitable sales revenue to an agreed target for a sales territory and/or portfolio of clients.  Promote the Singapore Airlines brand, products and services through the primary distribution channels available.  Negotiate and account manage travel trade agreements and manage corporate agreements with direct corporate and TMC’s
