Senior Travel Consultant (Permanent) Gauteng- Johannesburg -Retail

Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for all travel bookings at all levels for our clients
  • Issue full domestic & international ticketing, reservations including hotel, car, air, cruises, transfer, B&B etc.
  • Ensure corporate fares are utilized
  • Ability to accurately conclude multi-sector/round the world reservations
  • Alignment to all company polices/procedures
  • Ensure that all fees are correctly charged at time of ticketing including invoicing & referral bookings
  • All vouchers correctly issued & emailed to the client & supplier in time
  • Cost conscious for the company & the client
  • Understanding & adhering to the clients’ travel policies & procedures and giving them the best services at all times
  • Ability to build relationships with clients at the highest level and maintain it
  • Ability to generate new business

Required Qualifications

  • No Less than 8 years' experience
  • Matric
  • Travel Diploma
  • Minimum 8years’ experience in a senior role in a similar organisation
  • Knowledge & work on the Amadeus GDS
  • Ability to handle pressure & volume
  • Offering a consistent extra mile service
  • Client retention
  • Aftercare service is crucial
  • Strong telephone & communication skills
  • Must be pleasant
