Job Description

Main Purpose

The main objective of this role is to speed point accurately and timeously ensuring that there is no loss to the business or comeback from clients with regards to inaccurate charges to their cards.  The service level for speed pointing, mailing receipts to consultants to confirm payment has been received as well as communication with regards to declined speed points is key. 

Daily Functions

Speed Pointing:- Process all speed point requests, online booking fees, maintain a spreadsheet of all online bookings within 2 days of the booking being made.  Maintain a line of communication with the Travel team, ensuring no bookings go un-ticketed or cancelled. Adhere to SLA for any booking is 2 days.

 

Travelfusion (Payment Platform):- Do a daily check. Mail call centre all failed Travelfusion bookings. Call low cost carriers for records on all unconfirmed bookings.  Check for failed and unconfirmed bookings throughout the day and process accordingly.  Look up missing info on tour operator system (Rezgateway) if needed. E-mail Travelfusion unconfirmed bookings on a weekly basis.

Online Bookings:- Maintain online ( Rezgateway ) booking list daily. Call for authority for all declined speed points.  Advise consultants in applicable division of any declined speed point requests.

Online Hotel Bookings:- Mail Call Centre for all hotel bookings in order for them to do fraud checks before you speed point.  Maintain spreadsheet of all hotel bookings to ensure that all bookings are processed. Actions to be speed pointed or that the booking has been cancelled from the Rezgateway system. Once speed pointed the booking must be invoiced to the applicable division.

Banking:Open Cash manager daily.  Balance Cash manager to speed pointed amounts. Process day closing of cashbook in Protas. Reconcile speed point schedules to daily excel reports. File speed point schedules. Release authority being held for unconfirmed online bookings

Required Qualifications

  • Must be proficient in Excel (Intermediate/Advanced)
  • Good grasp on reconciling Accounts
  • Previous Debtors experience in Travel advantageous
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Team player
