Thompsons Travel is looking for an outstanding sales person - someone seeking new business and who has experience in Key Account Management.  Suitable candidates will work in an exciting sales driven environment, which rewards achievers

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years previous Key Account Management experience in a corporate retail travel environment
  • Travel and Tourism qualification
  • Sales and Marketing qualification
  • Computer literate in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent geographic knowledge
  • Online proficiency and experience
  • Worked on Amadeus and /or travelled internationally
  • Familiar with Tender Documents and processes for New Business acquisition
  • Experience in working in a target driven environment and achieving personal sales
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills  
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proactive, problem solver and innovator
  • Strong sales background
  • Ability to analyse corporate accounts and present reports
  • Understanding of basic accounting principals
  • Must be a team player
  • Must have a driver’s licences and able to work outside normal working hours
  • Worked on Amadeus and /or travelled internationally
