Job Description

Main Purpose

To provide online Technical Support to the Flightsite team

  • Assist clients telephonically or via email
  • Acknowledge all online support queries within 1 hour
  • Ascertain client’s needs and advise suitable products and services
  • Assist clients telephonically and/or via e-mail with any website queries
  • Ensure that the client has been informed of the conditions of travel, in writing, before payment is accepted
  • Create and update client’s booking file including client’s contact details and full details of fare quoted and services offered.
  • Inform clients of Flightsite’s Terms and Conditions as well as those of the suppliers
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is issued within allocated time
  • Daily website testing  based on test cases
  • Daily error logging and tracking
  • System (payment system, bus systems)  and quality assurance testing
  • Report on progress

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year leisure consulting experience
  • Basic GDS knowledge
  • Strong geography, destination and product knowledge
  • Own transportation and driver's license
  • Outgoing and approachable with excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about travel and people
  • Computer literate with MS Office
  • Attention to detail
  • Solutions driven and tech savvy
