Job Description

  • The Content Marketer is responsible for overseeing the company's content strategies and implementing comprehensive content-delivery plans across all social media platforms, including print, video, audio, and other forms of content.

  • Write, direct production of content, and collect content for social media platforms and internal use.

  • Track metrics and indicators for data-driven decision-making and course alterations.

  • Manage content marketing strategy and plans, including coordinating with other teams.

  • Design and present content in appealing, intuitive ways for a variety of audience.

  • Write advertising copy for all brands.

  • Their ultimate goal is to find effective mechanisms to optimise copy for their products and brands, and they must ensure that projects are completed within given deadlines.

  • CREATION OF CUSTOMISED DOCUMENTATION

  • Development of proposal and bid strategies and the identification of key issues relating to the bid process

  • Development of strategic content and its presentation for sign-off at key stages of the bid process

  • Development of positioning documents and other corporate communication pieces that have strategic significance for our business, both internally and externally, using a variety of media.

     

    STANDARDISATION OF COMMUNICATION

  • Ensure standardisation of all communication prepared by Corporate Communications

  • Formatting of communications to ensure consistent standard

  • Maintain a smooth and efficient flow of work to ensure deadlines are met

  • Checking for accuracy of grammar, spelling and punctuation.

  • GENERAL

  • Development of relationships of trust with internal stakeholders

  • Ability to interact with company MD and EXCO

  • Ensure all internal administration requirements are maintained and completed according to company standards

  • Continuous enhancement of copy and content

  • Produce communication that is professional, error free and adheres to Rennies Travel Corporate ID

  • Research and gather information to ensure appropriate positioning of communication in line with market trends.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12/Journalist diploma or degree/ copy writing experience

  • Prior experience in editorial and content strategies of multi-channel content programs

  • Desktop publishing experience
