Job Description

KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

 

  • Receive travel requests from the travellers and travel bookers

  • Obtain the 3 best possible options on rates from suppliers for car hire, hotel and airline for the travellers and travel bookers

  • Compile a quotation on the travel package and forward this to the travellers and travel bookers

  • Arrange bookings as per the approved quote from the travellers and travel bookers

  • Provide booking confirmation to the travellers and travel bookers once bookings have been made

  • Confirm final travel bookings with the travellers and travel bookers

  • Receive a package order or booking form from the travellers and travel bookers indicating that they have accepted the confirmation of the bookings

  • Issue the travel documents, i.e. airline tickets, car hire and hotel vouchers to the travellers and travel bookers via email

  • Forex and any other ancillary services

  • Read and research information in order to remain abreast with changes within the market.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

Diploma in Travel and Tourism / equivalent NQF Level 5

3 - 4 years’ relevant experience
