Job Description

The Junior Groups Consultant is responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.). The groups travel consultant is the primary point of contact for the customer and provides active travel consultation towards the business customers, including providing travel details and up-selling of related product.

This position requires an incumbent to demonstrate an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the travel industry. Works independently on requests. Takes the initiative to provide assistance to team members and management as requested.

Minimum 2 year’s experience in the travel industry

  • Processing  domestic and inbound request for team builds, conferences, training, competitions and events
  • Sourcing of suppliers and services
  • Quoting in Excel, presentations in word and power point, communication through e-mail
  • Proficient in English
  • Must be able to travel as and when requested, locally, nationally or internationally
