Thompsons Travel is looking for a Bookkeeper to assist the Senior Bookkeeper with financial procedures in the Finance Department. Suitable candidates will work in an exciting sales driven environment, which rewards achievers.

Required Qualifications

  • Travel or Tourism Certificate
  • Finance / Bookkeeping Diploma
  • Five years financial travel industry experience
  • Fully PC literate – MS Office Applications – Intermediate Excel essential
  • Quicktrav and Amadeus experience preferable
  • Accounting principles
  • Product and geographical knowledge an advantage
  • High accuracy and concentration, focusing on detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Outstanding customer service skills
