A multi-faceted position including operational, projects and changes and general, the main purpose of the role is to: provide application, systems and database support, log systems incidents, problems and changes, update and create new documents to include in the ICT knowledge base, update teams on progress re changes, tasks, incidents and problems. In addition will be required to configure systems, applications, and databases, create new and enhance existing SQL/SSRS and Crystal reports, pro-actively identify threats that could impact IT services negatively and identify opportunities that could improve value of IT services.

All this and much more relating to a SQL database administrator functions!!

Required Qualifications

Essential for this position is a relevant tertiary qualification in IT - Degree or Diploma. Must also have extensive - minimum four years - experience working with IT focusing on application support and report writing/SQL scripting, knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Reporting Services. Working knowledge of the Windows desktop and server environment a must.
