Job Description

We're a well-established small - medium sized travel agency based in Durbanville who specialize in island holiday packages. We are growing our team within the travel industry and looking to employ qualified, experienced (from mid-level up) leisure travel consultant. This is truly a great opportunity to work with a smaller, relaxed yet highly professional team who think outside the box. We believe performance should be properly rewarded.

Salary: Negotiable – Depending on experience

Required Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years leisure consulting experience
  • Strong geography, destination and product knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of fares and ticketing
  • GDS will be an advantage (preferably on Amadeus)
  • Sales focused with experience of working in a target driven environment
  • Own transportation and driver's license
  • Outgoing and approachable with excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Passionate about travel and people
  • Computer literate with MS Office
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to excel under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Team player
  • Be able to meet targets
