Job Description

You need to be dynamic, have loads of positive energy and enthusiastic about the travel and tourism industry. Only apply if you have the necessary sales AND travel experience with proof of successful selling abilities. Highly skilled and competent in sales techniques, such as suggestive selling, computer skills (i-Tour would be an advantage), the ability to manage time effectively and be an exceptional communicator who thinks laterally and creatively. Any experience or exposure to the travel industry would be an advantage. The role of a sales consultant is challenging and pressurised.

Salary

Very generous commission based packages are offered

Required Qualifications

Education & Training:
  • Tertiary qualification in Travel or Tourism would be an advantage, but is not a necessity
  • Highly competent in MS Office
Experience:
  • At least three  (3) years working experience in the travel / tourism industry in a sales consultant role or environment
Skills & Attributes:
  • Exceptional telephone communication and sales techniques a necessity
  • Able to work independently
  • Attention to detail / high accuracy level
  • Time management and prioritising excellence
