Job Description

  • The main purpose of this role is to create and design a variety of artwork for the company;
  • Creation, design and layout of online collateral (ranging from but not limited to email signatures, flashing website banner adverts, e-flyers, social media advertising, infographics, email newsletters, presentations etc);
  • Assist in the creation, design and layout of printed collateral (ranging from but not limited to: flyers, stickers, adverts, newspaper adverts, postcards, brochures etc.);
  • Ensure delivery of print ready files;
  • Design of promotional items (ranging from but not limited to banners, pens, mugs etc.);
  • Creative designs for PowerPoint and presentations for brands, each brand to supply full details for PowerPoint  presentation;
  • Liaise with the international offices regarding standard, available artwork and adapt where relevant for the South African market;
  • Keep abreast of initiatives and design work done by the international offices to implement in SA where possible;
  • Adhere to the brand standards at all times;
  • Liaise & build relationships with internal and external clients to ensure a smooth & timely roll out of all design work (adhere to deadlines);
  • Actively contribute to the creation of an integrated and focused marketing team;
  • Any instructions required from time to time based on operational requirements of the company and falls within the vocational ability of the incumbent;
  • Adhere to company ethics standards;

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design;
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ graphic design experience is required;
  • All applicants MUST submit a portfolio of their work;
  • The successful applicant must be proficient in the following programs :
    • Adobe creative suite -  Design Standard which includes Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, Illustrator CC and Acrobat Pro  
    • Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Office365
