Job Description

LekkeSlaap.co.za is a fast-growing online Afrikaans travel and tourism business based in Westlake.  We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and professional individual, who shows a passion for excellent customer service.  The company is offering a permanent position and the successful candidate's primary role will be to offer support to guests and internal booking support via various communication channels.

R 10 000.00 - R 15 000.00

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Bilingual. Must be able to converse in Afrikaans and English.  This is a non-negotiable.
  • 1 to 3 years experience working on Amadeus in a travel agency as an airline reservationist.

The ideal candidate will also meet the following criteria:

  • The position will require you to provide support to guests and internal booking agents with any query relating to flights.
  • Provide the highest level of service to the company's clients as well as internal booking agents.
  • Be able to converse with and advise management on client feedback.
  • Must be flexible and a team player.
  • Must have a positive attitude.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in Afrikaans and English.
  • Must have the ability to work independently, with strong organisational- and administrative skills, attention to detail and excellent time-management skills.
  • Must have the ability to prioritise workload according to the most urgent flight- and travel requests.
  • Must have experience in quoting, confirming and changing domestic-, regional- and international flights on the Amadeus system.
  • Have an excellent understanding of airline terms and travel industry knowledge.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Amadeus.
  • Must have strong computer skills (ie.  Windows 10, MS office, etc).

General Details

Remuneration:

Remuneration on offer is a fixed-base amount.  We don't offer any benefits like pension or medical aid.  We do, however, offer incentive bonuses.

Our offices are located in Westlake, Cape Town.  No telephonic interviews will be done. You must be able to come in for an interview. You must be willing to relocate if you are not in Cape Town and you must available to start work end of October 2018/beginning November 2018.
