Job description:

This position is for someone who is passionate about booking and managing flights. The Groups Flight Consultant is responsible for booking group flights and supporting the Incentives and conferencing team with flights.

The position could also involve some conference and Incentives.

Required Qualifications

 

Qualifications and experience:

  • • Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Diploma in Travel and Tourism)
  • • At least 5 year’s experience in the travel/ events/ conferencing industry
  • • Extensive Galileo experience – at senior consultant level
  • • Incentive and/ or Conference experience an advantage
  • • Proactive with good organisational skills
  • • Good people skills / Client service skills
  • • Own car and drivers license
  • • Must be able to be on site and stay overnight during client functions
  • • Must have a good understanding of Excel (management of Registration list)
