Job Description

Reporting to the Travel Operations Manager, the Digital Content Coordinator assists in the loading of preferred supplier packages to the company website – Sure Travel, including the day to day updating design and maintenance of the packages loaded.

Work Activities/Duties
  • Source Product from our preferred partners
  • Source and resize images
  • Make sure that images have the proper meta-tags
  • Update content and packages
  • Make sure that all prices are up to date with the preferred partners
  • Add correct Google GPS Co-ordinates to every package loaded
  • Check that the Terms & Conditions are correct
  • Make sure we have SEO directed to our website
  • Source packages for monthly Plasma Screens
  • Source packages for E-flyers
  • Proof reading
  • Making sure the relevant packages are loaded in the website that correspond to the Ads in the Sure Travel Journey Magazine
  • Make sure packages are loaded correctly on an ad-hock basis for social-media campaigns and links are sent through to Bonzai Media
  • Load packages onto our members landing pages
  • Ad-hoc graphic design banners for Website and Agents Points Site

Required Qualifications

Education/Experience
  • 3 Years Travel Industry Experience as a Junior or Intermediate Travel Consultant (training and upskilling given)
  • Work experience in a similar field as a Content Coordinator
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • InDesign
  • Excellent verbal and Written communication skills
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Team Player
  • Self-disciplined
  • Innovative and Strategic thinker
  • Deadline orientated
  • Attention to detail
  • English & Afrikaans Read and Write
