Job Description

Have good product knowledge and sound geographical knowledge of Southern Africa including Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Swaziland, etc.  Do various quotations where quotes are checked by Senior Sales Specialist.  Use preferred suppliers where possible.

Ability to handle pressure and volume - be able to multitask.  General administration such as filing, assisting with travel and information packs, etc.  Understanding and ability to use Google (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, etc.).  Understand and be fully operational on the quoting side as well as the operating side of Tourplan.

Liaising with Contracting Dept if any rates required.  Source activities, restaurants, etc when needed.  Follow all company procedures (Standard Operating Procedures).  Contribute to the team’s target.  Emergency phone duty.  Ensure keep updated on products and itineraries of all agents within the company. Build relationships with agents and suppliers.  Ensure get to visit the preferred suppliers of agent working with and get to know the products.  Take responsibility for all aspects of tours.  Be on constant lookout for new venues and activities - advise team & rest of office.  Assist Senior Tour Specialist with annual tour series costings.  Once-off project work.

Required Qualifications

Matric qualification.

Tourplan.

Good communication skills.

Japanese speak, read and write.

Company is open for candidate to work from home should they be based far from the office.
