Job Description

The Senior Travel Consultant will be responsible to arrange and book travel, car hire, accommodation and related administration. To offer a full comprehensive travel service to company and Shared services staff to ensure the efficient operation of the Supply Chain Office.

Coordination of company travel arrangements, including car hire, accommodation, travel insurance and flights for company. Devising and maintaining processes, checklist and policies for the procurement travel process.  Involvement in the Visa process, to ensure Visa’s are applied for and relevant documents issued to travellers.  Implement a cost saving model aligned to the Travel policy.  Ensure that you track and adhere to departmental travel spend and budget.  Administration – general document archiving and Travel packs for travellers.

Effective communication and consultation with travellers to understand travel requirements and details. Responsible for monthly travel reporting as required per department.  Ability to handle travel emergencies, unscheduled travel arrangements efficiently and timeously.  As well as after hour availability to assist travellers.  Build relationships with relevant vendors and suppliers.  Offer excellent customer service to your clients, within specified SLA’s.

Contract position for 4 months with the possibility of becoming permanent.

R30 K to R40K per month

Required Qualifications

Grade 12.

Secretarial certificate / Diploma.

Travel and Tourism Diploma.

5+ years secretarial experience at a senior level.

5+ years Travel Consultancy experience.

Secretarial and administrative task.
