Marketing Manager (Intermediate Level) (Temporary) Gauteng- Rosebank, Johannesburg -Retail

We are seeking a travel expert. We would like to welcome on board an Intermediate Marketing Manager for 5 months to support our Family of Brands.
 
The purpose for this position is to assist with all marketing related activities for Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises and U River Cruises. 
 
This role involves :
  • Execute all marketing campaigns, in line with the marketing plan and brand guidelines;
  • Co-ordinate production and brief graphic designer on all collateral needed for campaigns according to brand standards;
  • Ensure timeous communication and promotion of all special offers, last minute deals etc. to Consortia partners and internal teams;
  • Compile monthly reports analysing and detailing the bookings made during the month;
  • Oversee direct media advertising, in partnership with the digital agency, to align with global marketing plans;
  • Supply sales team with the necessary material to support their sales efforts in promoting the brand to the trade, travel talks, window displays, trade shows, consumer travel shows etc.
  • Manage Travelinfo updates;
  • Oversee and manage social media platforms (including Facebook and Twitter accounts);
  • Manage and distribute all templates for campaigns as required;
  • Attend and contribute to monthly global marketing meetings/calls;
  • Create and distribute monthly electronic newsletter via Marketing Cloud;
  • Direct daily website enquiries/queries/complaints to the right channels e.g. direct team, reservations, documents, marketing manager and managing director;
  • Source, purchase and distribute corporate gifts & hampers;
  • Packaging of gifts, hampers and hand-outs for consumers & trade and courier all material to arrive timeously;
  • Any instructions required from time to time based on operational requirements of the company and falls within the vocational ability of the incumbent;
  • Adhere to company ethics standards

Required Qualifications

  • Post graduate Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Marketing; 
  • 2 or more years marketing experience;
  • Preference will be given to applicants in the travel industry;
  • Microsoft Office knowledge including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • The ability to retain and organize large volumes of changing information;
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment;
  • Availability to work overtime as required on an ad-hoc basis
