Job Description

Thompsons Travel is looking for an Intermediate to Senior Corporate Consultant, who has experience in converting as many corporate travel enquiries as possible into profitable bookings.  Suitable candidates will work in an exciting sales driven environment, which rewards achievers.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in corporate travel environment
  • Travel or Tourism Certificate
  • Online proficiency and experience
  • Amadeus GDS and Quicktrav experience required
  • Working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office Applications - Outlook
  • Able to meet sales targets and perform under pressure
  • Proven sales record
  • Extensive global product and geographical travel knowledge
  • Practical working experience with Amadeus and fares and ticketing experience
  • High accuracy and concentration, focusing on detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Results orientated
  • Strong organisational abilities
  • Must be a team player
