Job Description

Ten is looking for passionate, motivated and resourceful individual to join our EMEA Travel team. As a Travel Specialist you will be fulfilling leisure travel requests on behalf of our members, including luxury journeys on behalf of high net worth members, complex flight inclusive itineraries covering several destinations within UK, Europe and world-wide.

Your exceptional customer service skills, commercial judgement, skillful use of travel research and booking technology, and passion for travel will deliver superb member satisfaction, high levels of supplier revenue and repeat usage of Ten for travel and other jobs throughout the business.

Salary

Negotiable – Basic Salary plus Bonus Pot Allocation (plus Company Medical Aid Contribution)

Required Qualifications

  • Qualification in Tourism or Hospitality preferred but not essential
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in outbound retail leisure travel essential, planning worldwide luxury itineraries
  • Recent GDS experience is essential (within the last 2 years), Amadeus preferable.
  • Proven track record in European leisure sales as well as worldwide itineraries.
  • Excellent communication skills – English spoken and written on business proficiency essential (additional EU language beneficial)

General Details

  • Candidate must either be South African Citizen or have the necessary valid Permit/Visa allowing them to live and work in South Africa
  • Candidate will need to be based in Cape Town or willing to relocate to Cape Town (on own account)
  • Self-motivation, committed and possess initiative & drive in the job
  • Flexibility : ability to work shifts and weekends. ( This position is a 40-hour work week with day / evening shifts. Shifts are either Tuesday - Saturday / Sunday - Thursday ; between the hours of 6:00 - 22:00 SAST).
