Senior Travel Consultant (Permanent) Gauteng- Johannesburg -Retail

Job Description

The role is a consultative function in which the incumbent manages a portfolio of clients and compiles domestic, regional and international travel packages for corporate clients. 
 
This position is responsible for the effective compilation of travel packages and will be required to deliver after-hours services from time to time.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma/relevant qualifications in Travel and Tourism 
  • General Travel Certificate
  • 5+ years’ experience in the retail travel industry 
  • Strong operational and GDS/travel systems experience, fares knowledge, staff management skills and can work within a fast-paced, busy environment
  • Sabre knowledge 
  • CWT Systems experience 
  • Department of State experience
