Thompsons Travel is looking for a Senior Leisure Consultant, who has experience in converting as many Leisure Travel enquiries as possible into profitable bookings. Suitable candidates will work in an exciting sale driven environment, which rewards achievers.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in travel, tourism, or an equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Leisure Travel industry
  • Corporate Travel knowledge preferable
  • Amadeus proficiency and experience essential
  • Quicktrav knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of domestic and foreign travel destinations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Above average sales and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
  • Target driven
  • Excellent knowledge of latest tourism trends
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Personal travel experience will be advantageous
  • Demonstrable ability to handle crises
  • A personable manner and a willingness to help people.
