Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a South African (work from home) Leisure Travel Consultant at one of Ireland’s most respected Travel Agencies.

Purpose of the role 

To provide information, advice and booking services directly to our clients whilst delivering service excellence and positively promoting the Company brand.

  • Providing Travel Management Services to our client base
  • Booking Flights, Hotels, Car Hire, Rail, and other services
  • Conversing with your client by phone and email
  • Seek feedback from your client to continuously improve the service.
  • Liaise with your manager to discuss complications, developments, and sales.

Salary

Attractive package market-related, based on experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 Years of Travel Industry knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of Amadeus 
  • Must be fully proficient with Ticketing on the GDS
  • Ticketing and Fares Knowledge
  • Computer literate in MS Windows and MS Office and Excel a bonus. 
  • Understanding of airline terms, geography, destination, and product knowledge
  • Quick to pick up online booking tools and back-office tools.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of the additional language is an advantage.
  • Possess competent written and verbal communications skills.
  • An ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for information.
  • An ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • An ability to start and finish a reservation including required admin.
