Job Description

As the interest and need for genuine conservation travel grows, we’re seeing more people than ever reaching out to us from all four corners of the globe. We are hiring two Operations Consultants to support us in this exciting growth phase.

Based in Johannesburg, your main goals will be to support our travellers throughout their journey, whether they’re individuals or part of a Group Trip, and support our internal teams with creating, booking, and finalising itineraries. This involves not only sharp, organisational skills, but also active listening as you’ll collaborate with team members and suppliers to secure all essential travel arrangements. You’re not just a planner and problem-solver; you’re a key player in our travellers’ experiences. Your proactive communication with the teams in UK and South Africa will transform a traveller’s ordinary journey into extraordinary. Salary

Starting gross monthly salary: R20,000 - R30,000, depending on experience. Membership of our profit share scheme in the second full financial year of employment

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ of customer-facing experience
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in the travel industry
  • National Senior Certificate (Matric) - with maths (minimum standard grade or above)
  • A willingness to develop relationships with key suppliers and customers
  • A willingness to travel when necessary to meet travellers
  • The ability to thrive in a busy role, effectively managing and priortising workloads
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and comfortable with multi-tasking
  • Proficient in PC and / or Mac
  • Valid passport, driving licence, and own transport
