A rapidly expanding, edgy, budget motel-concept short stay accommodation head quarters located in Johannesburg Northern Suburbs. This Brand plan to locate units across all national routes in Southern Africa. This role will involve a lot of Travel (2 weeks of the month on the road at various locations) as the units roll out.

Job Description

Sales Coordinator & Admin Support. Junior sales exec with 2 years sales experience required.

Primarily to fulfill a sales coordination role, setting up meetings, feedback, call back, and assisting with cold calling, lead generation as well as client visits. Corporate travel (Travel Management Companies) and Government travel experience preferred with established network / connections and eager to build on that. Sales approach – diligent research, cold calling on the phone and site visits. Persistence and thoroughness are vital, rather than an aggressive hard-sell approach. A hunter who can understand the business link between industry, sales reps and sub-contractors. Demonstrable Excel experience – primarily for record keeping and mining reports generated by the Central Res system. Scrutinize report for repeat visits, long stay and similar analysis. Fastidious record keeping, well organised to manage database and coordinate follow ups from leads generated at trade shows, online etc. The ideal candidate will enjoy traveling and be able to immerse themselves in the micro climate of each property (unit in the brand), build up contacts and relationships with each property manager. Expected time out the office: 50% (2 weeks per month visiting sites, on average 1 week per site). Researching the industry around the site, developing connections with local chambers of commerce, local tour operations, government tourism offices, visits to large businesses / mines for product knowledge / branding distribution. Secondary tasks include providing a report on the condition of branding on site: state of banners / brochure numbers / external branding opportunities / business feedback, e.g developing the F&B element for local industry / leisure. This role Reports to Sales Manager. Driver’s license is non-negotiable. Own car preferable
