Job Description

Thompsons Travel (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for a self-motivated, vibrant, and energetic Senior Corporate Consultant in Durban Office. The successful candidate must have previous experience of 5-10 years’ experience in corporate travel environment.

Negotiable based on previous experience

Required Qualifications

  • Handle and oversee all travel arrangements (air, lodgings etc.) and operations.
  • Provide advice on travel documents, insurance, etc.
  • Ensure service level agreements are adhered to as well as duty of care being a priority for travellers.
  • Problem solving as well as following process to ensure a seamless journey for our traveller.
  • Handle unforeseen problems and complaints.

General Details

  • Ability to meet targets.
  • Online proficiency and experience
  • Working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office Applications – Outlook/Travel Port
  • Proficiency in Amadeus /Travelport & Quick Trav.
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of fares and rules for both domestic and international travel
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and attention to detail cr
  • Problem solver
