Job Description

  • To supervise, oversee, coach, mentor and support a team of consultants to ensure that the company’s policies, procedures, and quality management standards are adhered to.
  • Monitor and maintain all internal processes and procedures in accordance with ISO requirements
  • Monitor and maintain quality through checking team compliance to client SLA’s
  • Supervise and manage all ADM’s, PIR’s, Accounting queries and refunds
  • Understand and apply relevant knowledge to manage cost versus expenditure (budgets etc.)
  • Understand and drive team performance in order to increase GP
  • Provide support, guidance, and training to subordinate levels and new employees
  • Monitor workflow and ensure output is timeous / accurate and complete in your team
  • Continuously monitor capacity with the teams and ensuring that an effective shift roster is in place
  • Guiding and assisting all consultants within the team with problems and queries
  • Ascertain training requirements
  • Conduct disciplinary processes in conjunction with the HR Department
  • Support and promote change management
  • Conduct quarterly performance appraisals and ensure continuous mentoring to facilitate achievement of targets
  • Understand and analyse reports, to identify error trends in conjunction with business development managers
  • Ensure that clients are informed at first contact of all travel requirements

Required Qualifications

Diploma/Certificate in Accounting, Finance/related field (Accounts Recievable certification)

General Details

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Senior Travel consultant
  • 3 years’ experience in a management role
  • Competent in English Business writing
