Core responsibilities includes but is not limited to:
1. OPENING OF BRANCH
• Deactivate security
• Set Safe
• Activate system (Rates)
• Check rates and update rates board

2. ADMINISTRATION
• Perform filing of previous days’ documentation
• Do action reports
• Test alarms

3. STOCK CONTROL
• Ensure that stock till is within allowed limits
• Lock safe
• Maintain stock levels
• Order stock from Hub when necessary
• Receive stock from CLO, perform dual control checks with CLO on stock received

4. CUSTOMER INTERACTION
• Customer place order
• Check all documentation, Exchange control, FICA documents
• Bank clearances (Nedbank) Collect clearances
• Complete information on ISS
• Complete transaction, pay client and take forex payment

5. END OF DAY TRANSACTIONS
• Balance till
• Counter check against ISS
• Open safe, set time delay
• Check limits, inform Supervisor by e mail
• Complete balance forms and attach signature
• Run end of day on ISS, and ensure that the cash in the till balances to all transactions processed
• Ensure banking is done on a daily basis

6. CLOSING OF BRANCH
• Lock safe
• Close branch
• Activate alarm system
