Job Description

TLC Vacations are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about travel, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

The ideal candidate will be required to deliver their work in a professional, methodical and detailed manner. This should be able to work under pressure at times either independently or as a team player, as well as have the ability to adapt and persevere when obstacles or challenges are presented.

Primary duties and responsibilities (KRAs)
  • Generate Sales: Drive sales revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within the travel industry.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on company products, services, and offerings to effectively communicate their value propositions to clients.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for business growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Travel: Occasionally travel to attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings as required.

Required Qualifications

Minimum requirement - Matric
Added advantage - Tertiary education
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated: Highly self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
