Job Description

  • Duties and responsibilities:
  • Process and respond promptly to all travel requests ensuring that client specifications and SLA requirements are met.
  • Ensure that clients are informed at first contact of all travel requirements – specific to destination.
  • Carefully check all documents for accuracy and quality and submit to the clients within prescribed time frames.
  • Understand and apply all technology used for operational effectiveness.
  • Apply fare and system knowledge in order to source the most cost-effective fares.
  • Process all visa requirements, where applicable.
  • Continuously check and/or monitor changes to client profile sheets (CPSs) or passenger profile sheets (PPSs), update and advise line manager.
  • Clear own Q at least three times a day.
  • Utilise preferred suppliers for provision of services, where possible.
  • Proactively monitor industry related issues and advise clients accordingly.
  • Understand and apply Wings’ specific policies and procedures.
  • Report all incidents affecting / involving clients and take regular guidance from Line Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualifications and experience:
  • Grade 12 plus diploma or certificate in travel and tourism.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a corporate role
  • GDS experience mandatory Sabre, Amadeus
  • Competent in English Business writing
