Job Description

  • As a Proposals and Product Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and costing FIT & Group Tour Proposals for the Southern Africa region.
  • Create high-quality and immersive proposals for our international wholesalers and retailers, ensuring the best in product, services, and tour experiences.
  • Develop and cost up FIT & Group Tour Proposals.
  • Create compelling proposals for both existing and new customers.
  • Stay current with travel trends, specials, and offerings.
  • Travel for educational trips and site inspections as needed.
  • Occasional travel for educational trips and site inspections within South Africa and Southern Africa

Required Qualifications

  • National Diploma in Tourism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in product development, proposals within the tourism industry.
  • Experience with Southern African destinations is highly preferred.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
