Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Inbound Tour Consultant to join our team, based in Cape Town. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on developing detailed itineraries tailored to client interests and budgets, while maintaining and building strong relationships with clients and suppliers. You'll work closely with our team to ensure we deliver high-quality, unforgettable travel experiences to our clients.

This role is perfect for a detail-oriented salesperson with a can-do attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a love for the sales process, including regular client interactions via phone, WhatsApp, or online platforms. 
 
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Travel and Tourism
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in a DMC or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures, to understand their needs, desires, and budget constraints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and internet.
  • Design and create detailed itineraries, including accommodation, transportation, and activities.
  • Strong knowledge of South Africa as a destination 
  • Respond to client requests and completing quotations.
  • Manage the entire client interaction and booking process from initial enquiry through to completion of service, all with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Update the booking onto the system and confirm service
  • Check accuracy of booking details
  • Obtain invoice from supplier and forward to accounts for payment
  • Reconfirmation of services
  • Invoicing and collecting client payments
  • Meeting all monthly sales targets
  • Ensure that supplier rate sheets are up to date
