Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for dealing with queries from the UK travel trade in order to book holidays all over the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with enquiries, quotes and booking holidays to a variety of destinations worldwide
  • Turning enquiries/quotes into bookings
  • To offer suitable packages and ancillaries within the requirements
  • To maintain a high level of customer service at all times
  • To achieve monthly sales targets
  • To use personal travel experience and product knowledge to sell appropriate holidays
  • To follow up on all enquiries made
  • Cross-selling to alternative holidays
  • To undertake any other duties or projects commensurate within the nature of the role

R30-R35000 + comm

Required Qualifications

At least 3 years’ experience in the travel industry (preferably selling holidays ideally within a wholesale environment)

  • Experience using a GDS, preferably Galileo
  • Excellent geographical knowledge and experience in a sales/travel environment
  • Sales driven
  • The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
  • To have a professional manner
  • To have a passion for travel
  • To have a basic knowledge of standard PC systems (full training will be given on in-house systems)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently
  • Organisational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proactive & enthusiastic

  • Own reliable transport.
  • Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00-18:00 + Saturday 10:00-17:00 (rotational basis) UK hours
