Job Description

Creditors Manager to take responsibility for a team of +- 5 employees. Managing Creditor controllers to ensure strict deadlines are meant. Assisting the team in resolving complex reconciliation of creditor’s accounts, resolution of any queries or issues with creditor’s statements, production of accurate and timely, reports and reconciliations.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Reconciliation of creditors accounts
  • Attends to complaints and queries, and resolves problems within company guidelines and policy
  • Processing of journals and remittance advises.
  • Email/Post/print of all statements
  • Maintains accurate and up to date creditors details and overdue accounts
  • Preparing reports for management review on a weekly/ bi-weekly basis
  • Managing a team of +- 5 employees to ensure all recons are done timeously
  • Other Ad hoc duties

Required Qualifications

Requirements

Qualification:

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Credit control certificates advantageous
Experience & Knowledge: 
  • 5 + years’ experience in similar role;
  • Accounting/ Bookkeeping experience would be advantageous
Skills & Attributes: 
  • Computer literate,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Able to perform under pressure;
  • Deadline driven;
  • Must be accurate;
  • Attention to detail is a must
