Junior Travel Consultant (Permanent) Western Cape- Strand -Retail

Job Description

  • Provide rules for changes and cancellation of services
  • Advise clients regarding passports, visas, health requirements, foreign exchange, travel insurance, car hire, accommodation, transfers, excursions, and any other related service
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is issued within allocated time
  • Air ticket: Send to traveller and/or booker
  • Voucher: Send to supplier and traveller and/or booker
  • Must be in possession of a valid GDS Certificate / prefer Galileo
  • Excellent knowledge of the GDS and booking tool
  • Ticketing and Fares knowledge        
  • Computer literate in MS Windows and MS Office
  • Destination and Product Knowledge
Personal Attributes Required:
  • Proficiency in English and Afrikaans will be an advantage
  • Possess effective organisational skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work.
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for information
  • Support team members and management
