Job Description

The successful candidate has the experience required to develop new travel products and services tailored to specific market needs, as well as the skills / ability to work with the Sales Team to market these Travel Products and Services.
The candidate will work in a team to implement the company’s marketing strategy which includes but is not limited to creating marketing messages, choosing mediums such as website advertising and print advertising, and carrying out other marketing campaigns and programs to reach the target clients .
Travel consulting skills will be required as Candidate will also assist in fulfillment of sales requests for both leisure and corporate bookings.

Required Qualifications

* Matric and Travel Qualification with minimum 3 years Retail Travel experience
* Good working Knowledge of Amadeus / Galileo and MS Office
* Ability to work confidently with Internet Based Software Applications and Social Media
* Advantageous skills include eMarketing skills, SEO, Public Relations and Content management skills
* Computer skills. 
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. 

* At least one year’s experience supporting Marketing, Public Relations or Advertising function, Corporate travel industry experience a plus. 

* Strong working knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office required – must include all 4 (Word, Excel, Power point & Outlook). 

* Demonstrated experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, CRM, Acrobat, and SharePoint strongly preferred. 

* Proficiency with social media applications, search engines, content management systems, and other online marketing programs/products. 

* Detail oriented with outstanding project management skills in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. 

* Must have exceptional writing, editing and verbal communication skills. 
Strong conceptual skills with good knowledge related to art, design, graphics and typography. 

* Self-starter with the ability to work independently, and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Creative “out of the box” thinker. Self-motivated able to work on performance based targets
* Excellent geographical knowledge and preferable that the candidate has travelled overseas previously
* Team player who produces quality work that is accurate, complete and on time
* Excellent communicator both visual, verbal and vocal 

* Focused on delivering consistent, outstanding customer service 


* Self-developer who thrives on learning and applying that learning
