Job Description

• Respond to all types of travel sales and marketing requests from agencies , corporate business and
leisure clients within agreed time lines.
• Follow up on all sales enquires while projecting a professional company image through all interactions
with all clients.
• Successful creation of tailor made travel packages and building new packages to bring to market
• Flight and land quotes and ability of re-producing tailor-made itineraries and advising clients on the variety
of travel options available
• Experienced in the sale of travel services to Americas and Europe – Highly Advantageous
• Managing the sales process of all bookings from quoting stage, through to invoicing and to producing
travel documents.
• Provide customers with relevant and appropriate product and service information about their travel services.
• Upsell products and services.
• Responsible for providing clients with accurate quotations timeously.
• Ensure that all bookings are processed correctly and visas are applied for.
• Good communication/telephone etiquette
• Must be a team player and work well in Team environment
• High level of maturity and always willing to impart knowledge and expertise to peers

Required Qualifications

* Matric and Travel Qualification with minimum 3 years selling experience
* Strong IT Skills with Knowledge of Amadeus / Galileo and MS Office
* Ability to work confidently with Internet Based Software Applications and Social Media
* Excellent geographical knowledge and preferable that the candidate has travelled overseas previously
* Team player that produces quality work that is accurate,complete and on time
* Self Motivated Sales Consultant able to work on performance based sales targets
