Job Description

- Effectively action the travel booking process at all levels, resulting in an efficient, effective and cost conscious travel service
- Handle all aspects of corporate consulting at senior level, with extensive International bookings.
- Liaise with airlines and preferred suppliers to ensure best possible rates are offered.
- Plan and issue detailed itineraries to include all stop-overs, accommodation, car hire, air transfers etc.
- Finalise all documentation including all visa and travel requirements to ensure 'zero error' on bookings.
- Accurately complete all reissues and ability to complete all refunds accurately
- Offering a consistent extra mile service to clients while adhering to the SOP and SLA
- Assisting junior staff with queries and complaints
- Adhere to Company /client turnaround times.
- Understanding and adhering to the clients’ travel policies and procedures.
- Full understanding of the SOP manual and alignment to the Company's Standard Operating Procedures.
- Fully conversant with preferred partners both of Company and the client.
- Ability to update all travellers profiles.
- Ensure that all fees are correctly charged at time of ticketing including invoicing and referral bookings.
- Ensure corporate fares are utilized
- Limited QC rejections.
- Responsible in assisting to clear ADMs

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 6 years’ experience with at least 3 being in a senior role
- Matric Qualification and Travel Diploma
- Beginners and intermediate and advance fares course
- Ticketing course and Ticket reissue course
- Customer service course
- Sound geographical knowledge -Sound visa knowledge
- Excellent Command of the English Language
- GALILEO and Quick Trav

The applicant must be able to contribute to business growth by acquiring new business, identifying new business opportunities through networking, accompanied by Lead Generation, Cold Calling Skills and relationship building with potential clients and through suppliers to meet and exceed set targets.

Must have driver’s license and own transport.
